Cardholder migration notice
November 18th, 2020
To: Paygoo Cardholders
Subject: Change of issuer of your prepaid card and General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) Privacy Notice
Dear Cardholder,
On 9th September 2020 Railsbank Technology Limited (“Railsbank”) agreed to acquire certain of the business and assets of and from Wirecard Card Solutions Limited (“Wirecard”). As part of this acquisition, we, Paygoo, have agreed that e-money issuance services will now be provided to us by Railsbank and/or a Railsbank group company, rather than by Wirecard. We are therefore writing to let you know that we are changing the e-money issuer of your card.
Currently, your e-money issuer is Wirecard, and from 18th November 2020, your new e-money issuer will be PayrNet Limited (“PayrNet”), a Railsbank group company. PayrNet is incorporated in England and Wales with registration number 09883437 and has its registered office at Kemp House, 152 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. PayrNet is authorised and regulated as an electronic money institution by the Financial Conduct Authority with FCA reference number 900594.
You do not need to do anything, this change will happen automatically and seamlessly. You will not need a new card or need to change anything else about how you use your existing card. During the change there will be no interruptions to your service and your card will continue to work as normal.
Once this change takes effect, the Terms and Conditions will remain generally unchanged, with the card issuer changing from Wirecard to PayrNet.
As a result of the above migration, your personal data will be transferred to PayrNet for the continued provision of e-money issuing services to you. PayrNet will process your personal data fairly and lawfully and in accordance with the principles and requirements of the GDPR.
Under the GDPR, we are required to provide you with certain information about how your personal data will be processed, and for what purposes and your rights in relation to your personal data. This information is provided in https://www.railsbank.com/privacypolicy and it is important that you read that information. The policy also describes how you may exercise your individual rights.
Should you prefer to cancel your card and redeem the funds on your card, please follow our normal procedures regarding redemption.
Should you have any concerns with this change in issuer, you can contact us at Paygoo Customer support, hello@paygoo.fi or refer to our website for further information.
Best regards from the Paygoo team
